I’m a mother of three with a degree in business informatics. I love making things by hand. Basket weaving brings together natural materials and traditional skills.
Making things together
My husband and I work in IT. In our spare time, we garden and tackle DIY projects; he also enjoys woodworking. We love sharing this life close to nature with our children.
A new life for an old house
We found an uninhabitable farmhouse in the Bakony region and restored it ourselves in about a year, preserving its character. Today, it’s our weekend retreat: a little piece of the past we’ve kept alive.
Learning from the makers
Whenever I can, I listen to experienced basket weavers and learn from them. I also draw on crafts from other countries. Speaking several languages helps me connect with the people keeping these skills alive.
Keeping the craft alive
